ignition switch location

I have a 1994 camry le, 4 cylinder, and I think that the ignition switch is bad. Looking on line, I have found where everything is referenced to the tumblers being in the column. In this model, the key is installed in the dash, to the right of the steering column. So, my question stands, where is the ignition switch?
