99 Camry, stereo question......

Installed a Sony stereo in my camry tonight, and like a dumba$$, I left a cd in the old deck! Aside from taking it apart, any ideas on getting the cd out?

That's what I figured. I will either pull it apart again, or wait til one of the guys at work is replacing a radio, and have them get it out. I know, it's easy to pull out, but I don't need the CD back that bad.
How do the rear speakers come out? They're BOTH DEAD. The Sony head unit sounds 10x better than the stock unit, even with the stock front speakers.

Rear speakers are a PITA to get to, really. You pretty much have to remove the sides from rear seats, which will allow you to remove the rear side covers (the ones b/w windows and rear doors), which will then allow you to remove the back panel, giving you access to the speakers.

To make matters worse, Toyota doesn't really use standard speaker sizes, from what I hear, so fitting aftermarket speakers is not just a straight bolt-on.

As for your CD, you could try to give the old deck 12v, and see if it comes to life? Somebody correct me if that doesn't work.

Hope this helps.

We have a car apart in the shop, getting some work done to it. I am going to plug the radio in tomorrow, and eject the CD!
Are the rear speakers 6X9"?
