Recommendations for mismatched headlight bulbs

Hello all,

My wife's parents recently gave her their old 1994 Camry LE. I have been tasked with doing some very basic maintenance and cosmetic repairs. When I went to install new lowbeam headlight bulbs I ran into a problem. The passenger side was easy but I discovered that the driver side had a 9005 HB bulb installed. Both the connector and the retaining ring the bulb screws into are for a 9005 bulb.

Is driving around with a 9005 HB bulb on one side going to bother oncoming traffic? If so is there a fix that does not involve purchasing a new headlight? If 9005 as lowbeams are okay should I try to put a 9005 bulb on the passenger side so the bulbs match?

Thanks for any insight you are able to offer.

what is it supposed to be ?

sit the car a bit from a wall/garage door and see if the light scatters all over or if the light looks like it has a good pattern. if it has a good pattern, then dont worry about it unless ur ocd and really want to fix it

Just in case you don't have the owner's manual to determine what the correct bulb should be, you can use this site. I print out the page for all my cars and keep it in the glove box.
