Changing bulb - temperature gauge - 00 Camry

Hi,

I have already checked current threads. None addresses my concern so here it goes.
I am attempting to change a fuse bulb behind only my temperature gauge on my 2000 Camry.
From the front black panel, I took two screws out from the top, lowered my steering column. Now I can slide the top out a bit, I can unclick the lower piece and get my fingers around it to pull it out but the CORNERS are STUCK.. One corner has that clock, the other corner has that vent thing. For the life of me I can't figure out the trick to getting the corners free. I have used force, I have tried to stick a screw driver on both corners up and down to find a clicked piece but none was visible.

HELP !!!!
I don't wanna pay the dealer 70 dollars to do this for me.

They are just snapped in. So pull harder.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy their plastic pry tool set. 7$. Once you get the proper leverage behind it, (pa-leeeze) no screwdrivers!!, it will pop loose.
The metal clips they used in the 90's can be a bear. Now they're plastic. Much more technician friendly.
