Rear sway bar - effect on cornering?

Hi - on a 99 V6 - I have lowered it with new springs & shocks, wider tyres and I fitted a whiteline rear sway bar. The car sits very flat through corners - its been on for almost a year now and it handles / grips very well.

It seems to oversteer - like a rear wheel car - not under power but when going around roundabouts... with some speed. I do still have the stock front sway bar.

Is this common / normal?

Has anyone else experienced the same issue ?

Funny, I read the thread title, then thought about an experience with my 81' Corolla. I was fitting sway bar upgrades to it and did the rear bar first. Had a really big strong, rear sway bar, stock front one. Took it out for a of a (personal) road rally and it was tail happy as he.... Yup, it oversteered quite startlingly, and that was a rwd car! Thing is, the front end and bar does most of the work (esp. on a front drive car), so if you beef up the rear bar, while leaving the front stock, you will end up lifting almost all, or in fact all of the weight off your inside rear wheel while turning hard and even picking it up off the ground. I've seen lots of VW, Golfs, do just that. You need to balance this upgrade with a stiffer front bar, oversteer is a really hard condition to control in a fwd car.
