1999 Camry keyless entry

I just bought a 1999 Camry LE the car does not have factory alarm system but how do i tell if it has the factory entry? I took my vin number to dealer but they couldn't tell me.

did i not just post an answer to this question ? i think it was someone else's thread but now i cant even find it anymore.

u can tell if you have keyless entry if you have the keyless entry receiver module behind the dash. i dont think i have keyless entry so i wouldn't be able to find that module and take a pic for u. maybe someone w keyless entry and knows where that module is can take a pic and then u can go see if you have it or not. the only other way is to grab OEM fobs and try to see if you can program them but that would be the more expensive way to find out lol

on my 95 its under the Drivers seat. One Tell-Tale way to figure if you have keyless entry or not is if you have a SECURITY light anywhere in the car. On the 3rd gen its above the E-Brake.

On my 1999 it is behind the drivers kick panel. It is a box about 3"x3" and is a Viper model 211HV

I read that you need to jump the number 2 wire and 10 wire on the plug that into the mirror control switch but like many have found out their is no number 2 wire what should i try next?
