98 V6 Camry won't start after dying mid drive

Only previous issue was a week prior the vehicle lost power temporarily. After brief diagnostic and trouble shooting thought the problem was the fuel pump. Replaced fuel pump and that did not fix the issue. Tested the ignition and ran the OBD system but did not have any error codes.
I've tried to read through as many posts about this sort of problem as possible but I'm stuck. Car has 165k miles, timing belt was replaced at 140k.

There's a couple of things it could be that I can think of.... I had a similar problem with my 97 Camry

Fuel filter could be getting clogged

The throttle body butterfly(not sure of exact name) could be gummed up... I was told to inspect and clean with WD40 if needed.

Could be a number of things. Crank sensor or cam sensor failed. Could also be a bad fuel pump relay. This is the relay that sends power to the fuel pump. Also one of the ecu or fuel delivery fuses and relays could have also failed. Could be a bad ecu or other problem. This will need proper diagnostics. I would first start with the relay and fuses.

Question why was the fuel pump replaced? This sounds like bad diagnostics. As if someone said it is not getting fuel replace the pump. Did anyone verify there was power to the pump? Or that there was not even fuel coming out?

Start checking these areas.

I have a 2000 v6 that cut out while driving also with no check engine lights. It would act like it was trying to start but never did and just died.

It ended up being one of the rubber boot pieces on the intake system had come loose somehow. In the picture below(not my car) the boot had come off where the arrow is pointing.
