Where to get a door handle

Hi.

Where can I get the door handle (the one outside the door) for a 2000 Camry LE? The handle broke recently and I would rather try to get a new one instead of fooling around with hacks to glue the broken piece back. This is for the driver side front door, gray color.

Thanks.

Bought mine pre painted too on Ebay for my 98. They usually run $20-25 shipped.

On mine, it came with a paper stating I may need to buy some bolts as the threads may be different. The stock one had plastic in the thread recieving area and on the bolt the threads were like a wood screw that dug into the plastic to hold.

On the after market one, it has a metal threaded part to recieve the bolts. Mid project I just went to Home Depot-Menards and brought the handle in with me and found some threaded bolts that looked about the correct length.

Be carefull when putting the door back on. The only real problem I had is I went tooo fast and at the end when I was putting that plastic cup that the interior door handle-latch sits in I cracked it. I can live with it.

Its a DIY project just go slow. The tendency is to rush and mash things together. Old plastic parts do not like to be rushed.

Before buying the exterior replacement handle I tried to Super Glue it several times. Sitting there for 10-15 minutes each time. Looked real nice. Next day go to open door and handle would fall off in my hand. Had to laugh then buy a replacement. The paint job on my 3L3 maroon relacement handle was spot on well worth 20 bucks. I should have scraped it on the ground a few times to match the rest of the car.

I bought mine at the Toyota dealer. It was a bitch to install and I hope I never have to do it again. You need really small hands to get in there.
