Thanks for reply. Umm, yep, that was the problem exactly! Firestone said they've NEVER seen that problem before. The friggin' copper wire transferring current to the fuel pump was no longer conductive! Toyota doesn't even make the part! Firestone couldn't buy it and couldn't buy it at a junkyard. But, I went and found it myself and they slapped it on. Charged me $290 and I don't know if that was high or not because hey had to remove the fuel pump. Anyway, she's working fine!
In the mean time I bought some aluminum rims in good shape pre-mounted with 75% tread Perelli tires for $200. Can't wait to get 'em on!
