Help! Vehicle Wiring Harness. Any Junk yard owners?

Odd. Yesterday our hated boss left our store for good (thank God!). I parked in his spot and all the negative energy much have damaged my ultra-reliable 1998 4cyl Camry. He 's gone and still torturing me!

Anyway, the mechanic says I need the parts where the wire harness goes to the fuel pump. I need the clip and at least about 8 inches of the wire and the pigtail. He called dozens of junk yards to no avail. I don't need the entire harness, but since that's super expensive and no one the mechanic knows is willing to sell just what he needs to fix it, I'm stuck.

What can I do?

If anyone knows anywhere or anyone who may have what I need available I'll have my mechanic call to explain more thoroghly and I'll even pay for quick shipping.

This really sucks. Help!

Also, as I was searching Google, I found one site where you post the parts you need and junk yard operators read through it everyday and if they have the part they tell you the price and ship it to you. I found one such site but if anyone knows others please let me know. Thanks, guys.

What's wrong with the car? Symptoms. Did you modify or cut wires? Hard to understand broken wires to fuel pump since they don't move and are seldom touched.

Thanks for reply. Umm, yep, that was the problem exactly! Firestone said they've NEVER seen that problem before. The friggin' copper wire transferring current to the fuel pump was no longer conductive! Toyota doesn't even make the part! Firestone couldn't buy it and couldn't buy it at a junkyard. But, I went and found it myself and they slapped it on. Charged me $290 and I don't know if that was high or not because hey had to remove the fuel pump. Anyway, she's working fine!

In the mean time I bought some aluminum rims in good shape pre-mounted with 75% tread Perelli tires for $200. Can't wait to get 'em on!
