Yeah, bad O2 sensors usually don't give driveability problems. When the CE light is on, the ECU uses default fuel maps, which are on the rich side to avoid engine damage. So you might notice gas mileage is down a little. Letting it go a long time can destroy the catalytic converter. The uncombusted fuel gets burned in the cat and makes heat, which can melt down the cat's core and cause blockage. It's best to get it fixed ASAP.
I highly recommend using a Denso brand sensor. They're the OEM supplier to Toyota. Either Rockauto.com or Amazon has good pricing. Looking it up in Denso's catalog here, you need either:
Denso p/n 234-4622 gets you the sensor with connector; what they call "OE Style".
Denso p/n 234-4209 gets you the sensor w/o connector; what they call "Universal". You have to cut off the connector on the old sensor and transfer it to the new one.
