door sensor things not working

those little buttons that tell if the door is closed or not are not working on the 2 back doors, so when you open the back doors at night, the dome light wont come on which can be annoying. Can these be fixed, or do i just need to buy new ones?

Those are called courtesy switches. You may be able to get them working again by pulling the rubber boots back and spraying some electronics cleaner directly in there at the button.
Keep working them and they may start popping on again.

Don't know for sure. Take one of yours apart and see what the differences are, if any.

^^++++ Yes, do that first and save yourself a lot of hassle. Worked for me and still working 3 years later. Cleaner with lube is good.

I hosed mine down with WD40 a few years ago; still working well. I suspect almost anything will work. Just need to flush out all the dust. Mine were filthy dirty.
