modding a 99 camry

car is 99 camry. 4 cyl auto. 250K.
im revisiting this car and ideas. ive put about 10k on the car since it became mine. averaging 25-27 mpg on my daily commute. ive just driven the car since i got it. fixed the gremlins, added a cd player with an ipod hookup.
ive actually grown to like the car. fairly quiet, good gas milage, and somewhat comfortable.
so, im starting to look at tweaks again, this time due to worn out stuff. if ive gotta work on it, i might as well upgrade it too.
1. suspension. the monroe struts i put on it a few years ago are shot. theyve got a lifetime warrenty due to my commercial guy, so i guess im going back with monroes. another thread referenced cutting coils for about a 1 inch lowering. anyone know hoy much of which coil to cut? these springs are funky looking.
also, ive gotten some poly control arm and sway bar bushings fir it. ball jointsand tie rods are coming. any chassis parts i cant think of?
2. wheels. one of mine is bent, and the tires are shot due to funny wear from the worn out suspension. id like to go with a 16X? wheel. any cheap, easily spurced options?
3, seats: what will swap in easily (like bolt on, no mods) with lumbar suppporet, and possibly tiliting base? the foam on the drivers side is SHOT. so its time to change.
thanks for the help, guys.
Michael

DO NOT< I REPEAT DO NOT!!!! CUT COIL SPRINGS!
I ran Cut springs on my 91 corolla, and it seems good at first, but then it started sagging bad in the rear! then my car look lopsided, so do not cut springs! Get LOWERING springs, if your looking for a small drop, get eibach pro kit or some tein s-techs,
if you want lower i recommend B&G springs,

as for suspension get whiteline swaybars if you want or try to be lucky and get the TRDs if you want, those are hard to come by.
as for tires and wheels do 16x7 just keep it simple,
and seats, i couldnt help you there,
but DEFINITELY DO NOT CUT SPRINGS!

I would not cut the springs. If you want it lower, get lowering springs.
Seats up to 2001 should bolt right in. I'd hit up a local boneyard and see what they might have.

after reasding the slammed camry thread, and thinking, ill agree that cuttig would not be the way to go. so now im looking at my options, primarily the coil over conversion route. not true coil overs, but the slip ons pioneered by ground control and copied by every ebay seller ever. just need to find out what application will work properly. looking at a set for a mid 90s corolla and think thats what will work.

and friend of mine has a set of 16X7 wheels with decent tires from a dodge intrepid. the bolt pattern is right, and i think the backspacing is. any reason not to run them?

So B&G springs are good? I was looking some quality springs with a nice drop (wont sag over time) to go with some tokico hps.

H&R or Eibach is the way to go for modest drop.

I'm looking for a 1.5 to 2.0 inch drop. I looked at ksports and megans (both 2.0) but I heard there crap. I dont really want to take the coilover route either.

Tokico HPs with either Tein S-Techs or B&G are good enough.
