'97 Camry LE w/ 5SFE
I have always been confused about spark plugs. I have read about the differences between hotter and colder plugs and still can't find any answers on which plugs would give me the best performance.
I do understand that you have to gap plugs differently from the OE style if you go hotter/colder. The OE for the Camry 5SFE is double-platinum and I recently put in NGK Laser Double-Platinum plugs, but what electrode material would you suggest for the highest performance?
The Iridium plugs were fairly expensive in comparison so logic tells me that they would be better. However, I need an expert opinion on this matter.
I have one other question that I might as well ask here instead of making another thread:
I was looking into an oil catch can, and also into building my own. I see on all the catch cans that it has an inlet (from the PCV valve) and an outlet. I still can't figure out (or find info on) what exactly the outlet of the catch can should run to. Would it run to the intake tubing (where the breather tube used to hook up)?
Thanks in advance!
