New tire size question

hey all, i have a 2001 and the stock tire size is 205 65 15 and I got a hold of some rims that have tires on them. Rims and tires are 205 60 16. Is this going to hurt anything going to a larger tire? I am not a genius on what all the numbers mean, but they look pretty close. If not, what size tire should I be running on the 16 inch rim? Thx.

A 205/50/16 would be very close to stock tire diameter.
FYI: The 1st number is the width of the tire in mm.
The 2nd number (series) is the percentage of side wall of the tire surface.
The 3rd number is the rim size it fits.

The actual difference in circumference is 14.78mm larger or 0.76%. No big deal. For a good tire size calculator try http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg4.html#
