Is the child-lock-out switch engaged?... it's right next to the door lock button, I think. If it's on (locked), the lights on those switches are turned off.

no, i know for sure nothing lights up on any door switch besides on the master switch where the word "auto" lights up, there is no place for light to shine through the switch
Yes, they do. But like I said, the 3 switches on the master for the other 3 windows will go dark if the child switch lock is on. If yours don't light up at all, maybe that child switch is bad/disconnected?... do the switches work?

i don't think my '93 has a child switch... just a window lock..
Sorry, I might be using the wrong words. The lock I'm talking about is a switch on the driver's cluster that locks out the other 3 windows. It's right next to the power lock button. It disables the window switches on those doors to keep little kids from messing with 'em. If it's in the locked position, those switch lights on the driver's cluster are turned off.
There are also door latch safety switches on the rear doors; on the door's rear edge near the latch mechanism; gotta open the door to see 'em. Those disable the interior door handles to keep little kids from opening the door from the inside.
I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure all Cam's have these, regardless of trim level; DX, LE, XLE, whatev.
Edit: Just remembered DX's didn't have power windows as standard equipment, so of course they wouldn't have the window lockout unless they were ordered as an option.

Reason: DX correction

Hmmm, I don't see any mention of that door feature on the rear doors in my '93 owners manual. Maybe it was not on the '93?
