2000 camry charcoal canister vent hose whistle!
Hey guys ill try to keep this short. My moms 2000 camry had a problem after she got her tranny rebuilt where the car would not fill with gas. After I took a look undernieth, I saw someone had shoved a spark plug up the little vent hose coming off the charcoal canister. After yanking the plu out, car filled with fuel fine but at about 2000 rpm and at various other random times, that hose now whistles like a flute. Upon covering the hose end with my thumb, the noise stops. This doesn't seem right to me. What do y'all think?
