[Request] Toyota Solara SLE 1999 - Two major problems identification

Hello I need help identifying two problems with my Toyota Solara SLE 1999.

When driving my car in any area, especially bumpy areas my car makes loud thump noises that seems like it's coming from the car's spring from the front of my car. I'm not really sure if it's the spring but it sounds like its coming from there because it thumps up and down loudly and constantly. The noise is louder when driving through bumpy areas.

The second problem is when I am driving, I can hear the wheels from the back. It's sounds like as if the wheels are screeching. Also it seems like it's the baring but I have no idea.

I have two other cars, Hyundai and Acura which does not make any noises at all. I've also already tried to fix them myself.

Best Regards,
Jeffrey

I have a similiar problem. It could be a couple of things.

One is bad CV joints. To check this, you need to have the wheels pulled and be checking for worn or torn boots. The shaft itself should have minimum back and forth play. You should not have any up or down play. Any of these symptoms is a step in the right direction.

Two is bad end links for your sway bar. They shouldn't have any play in them at all. Also check the rubber/urethane mounts for them.

Third thing is you might have a bad top strut mount. You can tighten up the nut on top (i've understand 180 degrees should help) and see if that stops the noise.

I hope this helps you diagnose your issue.

Thank you I will take a look at those areas.

I will try to see if those are the problems, I'm also not an expert but I always try.
