stupid seat question

my drivers side is shot. car is a 99. with 235K on the clock, its no suprise.
im wondering if i can bolt lexus seats in. im thinking 97-2000 ES300 seats, as that is the lexus version of the camry.
will they mouint up to my floorpan?
do they have adjustable lumbar support?
what all adjustments do they have?

and also, can i use the passengers side seat and rear seats, just so they all match?

im assuming the wiring for the power seats is similar between the two models as well. is this correct?

anyone have any good sources other than car-part.com?

thanks
Michael

The ES300 and Camry seats are interchangeable for the Gen 3 Camry and ES300s. I can vouch for that, as I've done the swap. I can only assume the same for the Gen 4. The harness does match, but the only catch is you'll have to wire the passenger seat in.

I think it would be a worthy luxury swap if you can find a set. I'd check with salvage yards in the area... and keep checking. Most get cars in all the time.

Car-Part.com is a good source but keep in mind that a lot of yards don't inventory their seats (or do so poorly) so I'd only use them as a reference for finding yards in your area to call.

Corolla seat cushions will bolt in place of the Camry ones without changing any wiring (if you are interested in a cloth replacement, that is)

Check this thread out:
