3rd Generation My '94 Coupe V6 5-speed swap build thread... BIG PLANS! ;)

So, some of you know i picked up a 1MZ 1994 Camry coupe a while ago for $480...

i have just recently started on her.

the motor is horrible. and the paint is faded. and hood is dented from a deer.

but the interior is very clear. just needs a shampoo and a new dash which i already have.
it even has ALL the OEM floor mats!!!

i have since gotten the following for the car:::::

-Carbon Fiber hood (neds buffing)
-Carbon Fiber Trunk (1 of 11 to my knowledge. needs clearing)
-Scepter panel (has seen its better days. but not too bad)
-discontinued DEPO red/clear tail-lights

~*~ALL of the above items were from Chris (SpitFire) and i would like to thank him again for all the parts and the AMAZING deal)~*~

-a full 5-speed swap. including E153 tranny, axles, cluch master, yada yada yada
-gen 4 TRD short shifter (rare item)
-Port&Polished 1MZ heads to use later in the build.

and thats about it.

i already converted the floor E-brake to a handle E-brake. i just neeed to remove the pedal and cable that it connects to.

yesterday and today i have been removing and disconnecting parts in order to pull the engine and tranny.
this is my first time removing one so i am taking my time. not rushing the build at all.

still need to get a clutcch and flyheel. i will get just a stock set for now.

after i pull the motor and the tranny, i will start the 5-speed swap.

as for a motor, for now i will get a 2MZ and ride with it for a while.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Future plans::::

my plans for the coupe are as follows:

5-speed swapped

3MZ hybrid motor
-fully build 3MZ block
-1MZ Port&Polished heads and lower intake manifold
-2MZ crank shafts (hence the reason for getting a 2MZ to drive temporarily)
-custom GLP Motorsports MP-112 supercharger kit
-Meth injection
-custom cold-air intake
-OBX headers
-Magnaflow hi-flow cat(only because i have emissions where i live)
-OBX 3in cat-back exhaust (any other gen3-4 3inch catback systems???)
-whiteline RSB (currently on the wagon)
-coilovers (not sure on brand yet. but i would like camber adjustment as im not gonna buy new tires every year. lol)
-18" Work Emotion CR-Ultimate wheels (tires unsure as of now)
-replace dashboard as it is very sundamages. (already have dash)
-stand-alone computer
-GLP Big-Brake kit front and rear
-stainless steel cluth lines and brake lines
-paint job by ChrisCrash... Midnight blue with gold flakes
-Retro-fitted headlights (quad-projectors)
-RMM front lip, TRD rear spats (if i can find some) and undecided on sideskirts

Thats about all i can think of at the moment. lol. this will be a build over time. and i am MORE than excited.

i wil update this post with pics and videos in a few min or tomorrow night.
thanks guys and comments/suggestions/support is welcome.

seriously though dude, if you want some help, I'd be down to drive down there for a few days and help you do the swap. I can get that engine and transmission out and apart within 2 hours, and then help you swap everything over to manual.

Wow really? Thays damn quick Chris!
I might take you up on that acctually. How much gas would that be to and from? Zip is 30277.
Also, if we do that, would you be down to paint my engine bay while u were here? Nothin wild or fancy. Just like a matte or gloss black as idk 100% what color i will be painting the car yet.

According to mapquests fuel calculator, it'd cost about $50 each way in gas. Don't quote it though.

And I'd be down to paint the engine bay if you have a compressor.

Great progress! Maybe when you get her finished and if I EVER finish mine we will have to have a gen3 and gen4 meet somewhere!!! Keep it up - coming along nicely!

By the way - which center console armrest thingy will you be using - the one with the long top or the square top? I need the long top version in that color - my lid has separated long ago (maybe that's what's wrong with me! )
