My 97 Camry

All lights work

Battery Seems fine

Wont turn over/no spark from plugs

makes loud knocking(not a click) noise when trying to start.

Maybe the coil?
starter?

Im going to get towed please help!

water pump failed. teeth on t-belt gone.
what happeded the day before? running fine?

My guess would be busted timing belt. Pull the timing belt cover and have a friend or if your lucky remote start the car and see if the timing gear will move. best of luck, but this may be the case happened to me a year ago.

very confusing post....if it does not turn over you can not tell if you have a spark?............you need to create a signature with all the details of your car, year, engine , transmission, mileage etc, etc
