2001 Solara Rear defroster - how to test

I have a 2001 Solara. I got it used for my daughter. Unfortunately, it seems the rear window defroster isn't working or takes to long. Actually, I don't think it works. I want to test for continuity. Can somebody tell me what the resistance should be if I were to touch the positive and negative contact points? By the way, where are the contact points anyway. I think what happened was when the original owner was trying to remove the rear tint, they may have messed up the defroster.

If at all, how much would it cost to fix it?

Thanks!

NICE! I'll check this out. Actually I don't see any noticable breaks. Maybe they are just tiny cracks. I'll check it out with an ohm meter. Thank you!

Crap...I checked it and there are a ton of breaks along the conductive strip. Just checked Safelite and it's about $350 to replace the rear windshield.
