Unhappy Gen 4 Eyelids- Anyone Custom make them ???

Hi Everyone:

I really want a set of Eyelids for my 1998 TRD Camry. Some guy named Doug in Canada was selling them on ebay, but he could not make them and refunded money.

I have looked everywhere, each online store or local shops tell me the same thing, its a Family Car not a Sports car, Sorry. I was just at Rayco in Little Ferry NJ, same answer.

It is so fustrating on getting cool parts for these cars, my next car is going to be a Subaru WRX.

Someone from the forum was making Custom Eyelids for Generation 3 Camry's, can we get a Gen 4 Eyelids for our 97-99 Camry's ????? Maybe a Group Buy

Any help is much Appreciated

Thanks
TRD_Rob

make 'em yourself like this guy did. He just used vinyl. Won't cost much and looks pretty good too!

from those pics the vinyl doesn't look too bad...

or you can actually take those cheesey black plastic headlight covers like a lot of mustangs have around here and cut them yourself into eyelids and then either put vinyl on top of that to match your body color, or spray paint them with the factory color to match.

its one of the many projects on my list

i would actually LOVE to have eyelids and i was just about to start a thread for them.

I have a green car, do you think they make green vinyl? or would i have to paint it with spray paint to match my car?

when you put the vinyl on the headlight, do you have to heat it up to get it over those pointy things that are on the headlight?

by the way TRD_Rob, how did u get the TOYOTA on your brake cailper?
