Thumbs up Need a place for hard to find tires/wheels? Try http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.c

Have been running BFG Traction TA's on my cars for YEARS. They were discontinued a while back and the tire BFG replaced them with, the "Premier Touring," is said to be utter CRAP especially in the rain. Traction TA's have amazing wet/dry grip and their performance in snow is outstanding. Anyway I needed two for my '97 Camry and could not find them anywhere. A random Google Shopping Search led me to this link:

http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse....-50313&pID=600

...and I ordered immediately. With shipping, I got two of them for $173. My local tire store quoted me $280 for two of the BFG "Premier Touring" tires (to be fair, that is installed, but even adding ~ $20 per tire for M&B at my local garage, I'm still ahead).

These tires are one of BFG's best ever in my opinion. Was going nuts looking for alternatives in 195-70R-14 (there ain't much). Thrilled to have found this place. Just wanted to share in case it benefits some other people.

I had BFGoodridge Traction T/A (205/65-15) H-rated on my 01 Camry before. Traction was great as your said but the ride was not so good. Too harsh and hard to keep balance. I would check the manufacturing date on those "new" BFGs. You don't what to be stuck with 10 year old tires.

Here's a good website below.

Agree on the harshness - they aren't the smoothest riding - but still plenty good!

Thanks for the reminder about tire age! Will check.

FML! They emailed me to say the tires are 'on national backorder'. Way to have an up-to-date website! Thinking this might even be a scam now, gonna have to tell my CC to watch for fradulent charges. Awesome. :/
