4th Generation Front lower control arm bushing rattling noise?

Does anyone have this issue? I don't know if this is the Front LCA bushing thats making the rattling noise. My front struts were replaced not too long ago and the rattling is still there. I had it taken to my family's mechanic since I was looking for a second opinion and he told me it was indeed the Front LCA bushing that was causing the noise.

Is this a common issue? My friend has the same exact Camry as I do and he notices the noise as well.

Has anyone replaced a Front LCA before? I was going to buy a new one that came with the bushing already installed, but wasn't sure yet since I am not 100% on how to replace the LCA.

From what I heard, its easy, just time consuming. The basic instructions I had were, remove the 4 bolts. That's it. Is this true? Is it really that easy? I know there will be some complications as to having a stuck bolt, etc etc, but is there anything else besides removing the 4 bolts, not including the alignment obviously.

Let me know!!

I've replaced mine, and it's pretty straightforward.

2 bolts on the front.
1 at the rear.
2 nuts & 1 bolt holding it to the ball joint at the steering knuckle (might be 2 bolts & 1 nut; not sure).

I replaced the bushings in mine instead of buying the assembly. In hindsight, I wouldn't do that again. Not worth the hassle. Getting the front bushing out was a royal PITA, even using my buddy's 20 ton hydraulic press.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It would be too much of a hassle to replace the bushings, which is why I decided to just buy the control arm that came with everything.

Thanks for the reply!
