Left front caliper leaking a little?

My brake light came on. it was down about 3/8" I filled it back up. I started to look around for leaks....I figured it was probably the wheel cylinders but i thought I would look around first before I pulled the drums. The left front Caliper appears to have some fluid on the outside and it might have dripped onto the rim a little. I have not pulled the wheel yet. I looked at the Father in-laws records and it appears that he had the left front caliper replaced a year and half ago. that was 9k miles ago. Maybe I recorded it wrong and it was the right front one that was replaced. the right front one appears fine. My question is.....I did not see any fluid on the hose or the upper connection. I thought I read about a banjo fitting that might leak.........all thoughts are appreciated

My only thought would be, pull the wheel off and really see where it's coming from.

I will try and pull it off by this weekend. I was seeing if maybe there was a common issue with this. I did some searching and it does look like there is an occasional issue with the banjo bolt fitting on the caliper. I think the torque shoud be 22 lbs on the bolt. I will pull it off and check torque and look for leaks......then report back......

I have seen a few posts in here about the banjo fittings leaking. You should be able to pin down where its coming from when you get that wheel off.

Make sure OP has some new banjo washers ready. Always use a new one on each side of the banjo fitting and torque to spec.

There can be a lot of things, so let us know what you find.
