Lightbulb Engine Ideas?

So I got my replacement engine put in, and was wondering... Do I need a tune-up, new plugs, new wires or anything else? Any suggestions on making sure this engine sticks around for another 200+k miles!

TIA

Unless you know the history of the old motor, I'd say change, as money allows, in this order of priority:

Engine oil
Serpentine belt & power steering belt
Spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor (if applicable)

I forget, was this a V6 or 4 cylinder?

Unfortunately I do not know anything about the engine. I take that list of things to do. I do know I need to work on the struts and brakes for now.

it is a V6....

If you know nothing about the motor, then you assume that EVERYTHING maintenance related needs changing. This is something that a quality mechanic/shop should've have taken care of.

So, change the oil/filter/sparkplugs/thermostat/belts....
And, before a used junkyard engine goes in, I'll always change out valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, front/rear crank/cam seals, waterpump, belts/tensioners/idlers......... and ANYTHING else that might be questionable in a salvage yard motor.

Have the entire engine checked from a reputable shop or dealer as a second opinion.

I purchased a brand new(NOT rebuilt) Jasper engine with the works and had it installed in my 2001 Camry for $4,000...that was 11,000 miles ago and running like a champ.
