5sfe pistons....

What are my choices for aftermarket pistons.. Isnt stock bore 87.1mm? Everything i found says to use the 3sgte head... and the bore states either 86.5 or 87.5mm... I rather not have to bore the block out.. Im not sure if i bent a valve or cracked a piston untill i rip it apart.. I did compression test.. got nada from cylinder 3... I did a leakdown.... All seems to be leaking into the crankcase, so I think i demolished a piston. So what are my options for aftermarket pistons.. and yes it will be turbo'd.

Why are you in the market for forged pistons? You should be looking for forged rods first.

Are the 3s rods the same for the 5s? Is the stroke the same? Also 3s says stock bore is 86mm.. 5sfe says stock is 87mm.. Can anyone just confirm this for me... Thanks

Look at my 5SGTE How to thread. You'll find some answers there.
No, not the same. Bores are right.
