'94 camry passenger window problem , need advice??

I have a '94 Camry and the left passenger window just dropped. I heard a noise like something broke and looked back and watched the window sliding down. I pulled off the door panel looked around for some something obvious but not sure.

the window motor still works and can see the cable moving but its not moving the window. I took a pic of looking down into the door frame and noticed the cable looked funky and wanted to ask if this was the problem. Should the cable go over the top and hook on the left side? I also found a very small piece of plastic at the bottom of the door.

any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

The window regulator needs to be replaced. Here's a video showing how to do it.

I've puchased two from a dealership, and one off of eBay (from the maker of that video IIRC). No probs with any of 'em.
