Windshield fluid squirts weak

Its been a couple a weeks that when I hit it , it either comes out from the drivers side or the passenger side in weak way. I cleaned the sprayers with a brush because I thought they were clogged to no avail. Is this the WW pump ? I don't want to be without this winter....

How does the fluid flow from the hose when you remove it from the nozzle and squirt?

Remove one of the fine bristles from a wire brush and thread it through the hole to clean.

I used a thin needle to poke/pick the nozzle holes on my V6. 1 nozzle (both holes) were totally blocked with dirt and other nozzle had only 1 hole working when I got the car with broken washer tank and missing fluid pump and low level sensor (LOL! I know, someone didn't feel like cleaning windshield for a long time ).

it worked, however, now with a new pump, washer tank and sensor I see that it takes about 1 second for the fluid pressure to build up and start sparying from nozzles while on other car they spray instantly when I pull the stalk.

I read that the best thing to clean them thoroughly is to get a guitar string (forgot which note was best, maybe C), however PhatRoyale suggestion to get the fine wire form wire brush sounds good too.

keep us posted on the outcome and "tools" used

you really need to be at that right spot to make it really squirt.. lol, anyway just try to by pass the nozzles and see how it flows straight from the line... if all is good u need to clean the spray nozzles really well or just replace them.... if not check ur lines, it could be clogged maby from debris or contaminants for the resiovor...

Thanks for the replies guys.....I cleaned the nozzles and does about the same thing...it comes out only from one nozzle at the time and when I removed the hose it comes out but not with much pressure maybe that's why it doesn't come out from the the 4 holes in the 2 nozzles. If its the WW pump do you know where its located in this 1993 6 cyc camry? I think I see something under the coolant overflow tank....?

^ WW pump sits clipped into the bottom of washer fluid tank. access from below, after unbolting the shields or fender liner or whatever you have under it.

you can access is it on camry from the top??

I have only a narrow round hole with a top of washer tank neck sticking out of it, the whole tank with everything is below, I guess solaras must be different in that matter.

anyways, good luck with replacements

FYI original OEM tank for my car was like $80 new from online dealer, nowhere near $220 ... wow!
pump was around $50 (mine was missing LOL!)
