V6 auto transmission filter bolt lengths

I changed the transmission filter in my wife's '01 Camry V6 the other day. After the fact I stumbled across information stating the filter/stainer bolts are different lengths, but it's for the four cylinder engine, and the V6 ones are all the same length.

The service manual I have shows the V6 bolts are all one length, and the I4 bolts are two of one length and one of another. Can someone verify this for me? Car drives fine and all, but I'd like some peace of mind that doesn't involves dropping the pan again. The filter did feel snug when I installed it and the car drives fine, so I'm likely worried over nothing.

I've made this mistake a few times myself. Usually you can tell where the long one goes by inserting them in the holes without threading them in, and looking at how much each is sticking out. They should all protrude about the same amount. It's usually obvious where the long one goes.

To answer my own question: The V6 transmissions indeed use one length for all three bolts on the filter. They are Toyota part number 90105-06117 and they are 52 (mm?) in length.

The four cylinder transmissions use the different length bolts.

Sources: local Toyota dealer's part diagram in front of me and wiswind's info here.
