Need more info Year, engine, is that the air cleaner cover it is attached to? Or try this write down the part number off it and google it.

I believe that is a VSV for your emissions system.

I think this is a breather filter (gas separator or something like that), not a VSV, definitely not an IAT. I have the same one on side of 4cyl air box.

the part should have a toyota number on it, it's held to air box by only 1 small screw (there is a square "nut" behind it, don't loose it), easy to remove.

I may try to look it up in OEM catalog if you need, but first I need specific year, model, engine emissions, trim, transmission, country of origin info, etc..

fenixus gots it. It was on the side of the airbox with a hose coming from it, square nut and all. 2001 Toyota Camry 5SFE non-Cali.

I forgot how it was called and this part is extremely hard to locate in OEM diagrams, because it doesn't really belong to anything LOL
