98 Camry kills when cold started
So, I had my valve cover gasket changed and realize the leak was coming from the plug on the side the motor which somehow when inside. A "side job" mechanic came and glued the plug back, but in order to get to it he had to remove the intake and throttle. After putting those back on is when the stalls started. I was wondering if possibly he put a vacuum hose back in the wrong spot or if it is actually the idle air control. I did notice that on the bottom of the throttle where you can pull it to make it rev up, there is a piece that to me is going the wrong way. Instead of it going towards the throttle to make it idle higher when cold it goes the other. Does anyone know if this is correct or should it be going towards the throttle to raise the idle when cold?
