Exclamation 99 Camry Died at light! Wont start w/ no spark! Repalced ECU works then fried???????

I was driving home from a quick run to get some food and I was at a stop light. My car died (I didnt realize this since I had my radio turned up). When the light turned green I tried to accelerate which I soon realized my car woud not. I tried to start my car and it just turned over like it wanted to start but never started.

So me and my friend did a through diagnosis. Realized the car was not getting a spark. Nothing came from the spark plugs. Checked spark plugs, coils, fuses, fuel pump, all ok. Battery was taken out and fully charged after it died. Realized when the key is in the "on" position there is not check engine light. The ECU checked out bad. So bought a new ECU installed it. Car started! Car ran for about 5mins then died. Car now wont start and is check engine light does not turn on when in "on" position . My car is currently in the shop and a mechanic has pulled out and has been testing the harness to the ecu. No news yet . The Camry only has 118k miles on it. I remeber when I bought it (w/ 95k) shortly after owning it the dash lights/ac lights suddenly went out and after changing the fuse it would just keep blowing. I know it must be electrical but what? I had all my HIDs, and my Amplifer disconnected when the new ECU was installed so what could it be . Looks like I am going to end up parting the whole car out

if you want to track the electrical problems I can send you electrical wiring diagrams and FSM, they should fit more or less.

however if no fuses blow it will be hard to track down. I'd start with circuits that do not work, try find a spot where you still have power and where it ends.
also make sure that car actually uses proper fuses in correct locations and not a 25A fuse in place of a 5A somewhere.

seems like there is a serious short somewhere if replacement ECU got fried so quickly. look for obvious things, maybe wiring loom somewhere is rubbing bare metal and wire insulation is cut open?
for time being I would disconnect all aftermarket extras or anything that can interfere with stock wiring.

multi-meter is your friend.

PM sent.

P.S.

beautiful car, I like pics in cardomain!
only thing I don't like is your Bosch spark plug wireset

Also check the alternator. The regular may be bad or the diode bridge shot so it's generating damaging voltages to the ECU. Autozone checks it free.
