3rd Generation Help!!! Cant drive at night until solved

So I installed my retrofitted headlights/hids and new corners this morning. When changing the corners, I was attaching the two wires (power and ground) and one touched another and the was a small spark and a tiny bit of smoke. Now I was driving home from work (its dark now) and I turn on my headlights worked fine but no instrument cluster lights! I cant see how fast im going or how much gas I have. I get home just now and lock my car with the remote and usually the lights flash (tail lights, corners, and instrument cluster), no flash occured. Did you guys think I blew some fuses or something?

sound like the fuse blow...

here is how to tell a fuse blow or not blow...

look under your hood if you stand in front of the car... the two fuse box is on the right... just open and look if the filament burn, you can see the fuse wire broken half. that is how you can tell goo or bad....

also, there is another fuse box underneath your corn holder under the driver side.. you have to remove the corn holder to see the fuses.

+1

...and next time you do any electrical work on your car, disconnect the negative cable from the battery. it's easiest way to keep from blowing fuses or frying something.
