1994 Camry 1MZ No start/Stall

Got this from another shop which exhausted all their resources on a fix and now so have I, embarrassed to admit.
Looks like a nice well kept LE only 108K on it. Not registered, and looks like it's been sitting for some time.
Here's what it did first time I looked at it. Starts up smooth cold. Drove it in the shop, then starts to kick, sputter, and stall. All within a minute or 2.
Then it wouldn't restart. It will try, but shuts down after 2 secs.

Like I said, this was the first time I looked at it before the holidays.
I hooked up techstream and the only code I could get was P1300 igniter circuit#1.
The previous repair attempt by the other shop revealed one new coil pack
(this has 6 btw) on cyl #2

I found out from them they tried:
A used ignitor
1 new OE coil pack
A used ECM
A used circiut opening relay
Installed new NGK plugs
Replaced fuel pump.
Fuel filter
Crank sensor
Cam sensor.
A known good ECT sensor.

What I did was pull all the timing covers off and check the crank gear and timing marks. Spot on!
I then installed their new coil pack and 2 other new ones on bank 1.
Started it up and she ran great for 20 minutes or more all the while I was monitoring data list for misfire. (thinking it's fixed at this point)
Then it started to stumble then stall again. I watched all the cylinders spuraticly start missing all over the place before it stalled.

Lastly I checked the fuel quality and it stunk. Like it's old gas. And they told me they replaced the fuel pump so I have to trust them on the fuel pressure, you know?
So I sent it back to them. Told them to drain it out, and should be ok.

Now it's back. Now it only attempts to start. Like it has a bad immobilizer key. Like 2 secs, then bam fall on it's face.
Same code. P1300 Igniter cicuit#1
I've checked everything they touched and come up only thinking this is a bad ECM.
I even opened up the ecm and it looks like the day it was built.
I tried running it off the can of pressurized injector cleaner, but no luck.
However, it will run as long as I keep spraying carb clean into the vac port.
It seems like injection, right?

So, looking for anyone with this car that has been there in this situation.
How many of you have heard of 94 1MZ ecm failure.
I hate to try used units unless they're reman from Toyota. But parts won't take it back if I'm wrong. Know what I mean?

This on has me stumped, fella's. Hate to admit it. Can ya help?

I would pull the injectors and test them externally from the vehicle fer proper operation and spray pattern.

Edit:

Ah...code P1300 is Igniter Circuit Malfunction

This sounds similar to what happened with my car. Broken tooth on crank sprocket?

Tech1984 - I think you may have a worn Oil Control Valve, explaining the intermittent activity and nonsignal generating malfuction.
