How old are plug wires? How many years has the car been exhibiting this behavior?

You may have a slow drip from 1 or 2 of the fuel injectors from the residual fuel pressure in the line.
When you get it started it needs to clean itself out from the over rich condition.
A combination of this and add worn valve stem seals and there you go.
Sounds like this car is calling out for some needed maintenance.

It could be leaking valve stems, fuel would be black smoke. A weeping head gasket makes sense, next time let idle for a while and then see if it takes off normally. The coolant temp sensor could also cause weird stuff like this.

Leaking valve stems will cause blue smoke on startup.
I know because I have that issue right now with my Camry...
