Brake glide pin frozen in bracket

I went to grease the front passenger side glide pins on the disc bracket and the top one was fine. Bottom glide pin was frozen solid. I assume it is rusted inside the bracket. Any good suggestions on how to remove the glide pin? I thought about taking off the bracket and just ordering two new brackets from Autozone since they are only around $15 each. But, they would have to come in. My immediate thought was unbolting it from the car, take a propane torch and maybe heat it up so the rust might break up.

Gonna grease it good and put new rubber boots, new glide pins if I can get it out.

The lower pin probably has a rubber bushing that swelled up? It's common and quite a stupid design. IMO just remove the bushing. Try using a plier carefully twist first and then pull.

It's best to replace the dust boots as well so you can properly clean the bores with brake parts cleaner. Just make sure it's completely dry and don't get petro cleaners on rubber parts.

Using a screwdriver and some paper towel wrapped around it to scoop out as much old grease as you can works. It's not as good as a rebuild w/ new rubber parts. Use Permatex Ceramic Extreme grease FTW.
