3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I was told to ask here after posting a thread on the Camry Forums. Story is I have a '99 Camry, color is Antique Sage Pearl. I had a blue Bi-Xenon kit on there and I changed it to Green Bi-Xenon for the fact it matches the cars color a helluvalot better . Now I want to re-convert to a Hi/Low Kit so the high beams will flash halogen if I get flashed to give people a nice F-U. But I can't find an obvious trustworthy and good quality site that also sells in green. Anyone have recommendations?
This is interesting.... green bi-zenon so far, really bright, and we want to set it up so we can flash green halogen high beams at people, because we are getting flashed at now? IDA know, thats what I get from the post anyway. I thought I might actually offer some advice since I'm done a good 4900K Bi-Zenon, projector conversion myself, but I've never worked with them there green Bi-Zenon lights before.

If you are getting flashed there is a reason. Fix the reason, adjust your headlights properly, problem solved. As for the green lights, WTF? Is that even legal? I know here in Virginia you wouldn't pass the safety inspection. Just wondering.

Any pictures of the green hids? I was thinking about them but then the movie the green hornet kinda ruined it for me so now I have purple. Lol. But I'd also suggest try adjusting ur headlights I had that issue as well but I adjusted them lower than what I would have liked but no more ppl flashing me.
no no no not green halogen for brights just straight up halogen, believe it or not they make a dual bulb haha. But no not legal but it passes inspection (weird huh?) Like I said I'm just having trouble finding a kit from a good quality vendor, I don't wanna stick with the idiots I have the kit from now. And about a picture, gotta take another when my car is fixed, doing suspension with a lowering kit and I didn't feel like working all night on all four
not really understanding what you want to do. maybe its because i have no idea what you mean by "bixenon kit".
----------
if you have a gen4 with a bixenon projector w/d2s hid plug and play kit, then there iss no way to put a high beam halogen bulb or a hi/low halogen bulb in there without custom fabrication of the lamp assembly which you wouldn't want to do anyways because (put something about output beam characteristics here).

if you have a gen4 with either a bixenon projector w/d2s hid plug and play kit or an h4 hid plug and play kit, and you want to go back to hi/low halogen, then just remove the plug and play kit and install the original (or another set you purchased) bulbs.
oo i know what the OP means. if you dont know then listen up. bi xenons come in 2 different types. one is the single bulb. this is known as the Bi-Xenon HID (aka -3 Type) which are a most common type of bi xenon bulb found.
then you have the High/low HID (aka -2 Type). which is basically a low hid and a high halogen.
