3rd Generation KYB Shocks/Struts for V6 Camry - Need Opinion

I'm up for replacing my OEM shocks/strut assemblies with some new ones, but before I do so I want to get some opinions on KYB ones, specifically KYB GR2's. I read around and it seems most people like the SR2's, and even read somewhere KYB was the OEM for Lexus shocks. Anyone else on here have some other opinions?

Also, I want to make sure the shocks I'm looking at will work for my Gen3 Camry LE V6.

Thanks for the advice/help!

Yes, KYB is reputedly the OEM strut supplier to Toyota. And I think you mean GR2. I put a set of the GR2's on my Avalon a while back, and like 'em fine. They were a bit harsh at first; they take a month or so to break in. But after that, they're good.

The problem with asking about comparing struts is that to be fair, one shouldn't compare worn out brand X to new brand Z. Which is what most people, including me, experience.

You might wanna compare prices on those KYBs with Rockauto.com. I see they're about $5 cheaper each. Be sure to compare with shipping, tho.

Also verify using KYB's online catalog:
http://showmetheparts.com/kyb/

The parts you listed are for Gen 3.5. Gen 3 uses different parts. But people have used 3.5 instead of the Gen 3 design because the strut bearing is at the top, which is a superior design.

Will the difference cause any problems with fitment? A number of sites list those part numbers as compatible with the Camry V6.

Also BMR, I took a look at the prices at Rockauto - price are about $3-5 cheaper per unit, but shipping is $35 whereas it's free on ShockWarehouse.

Shouldn't be a difference, the Gen 3.5 is more desirable.
