Japan Hi beam adjustment?

Is there anyway to lower the highbeams or are they a permanent fixture.

depends on bulbs you have. with H4/HB2/9003 you only set the compromise between low & high beam since they are operated off the same bulb.

with 9005/9006 you probably can adjust high beams separately.

here's a Toyota FSM pic on that using the 3m/10ft from wall method:

On a 92'Camry you can only adjust your head lights as a unit. That is to say that you set them for proper alignment (usually on low beam) then the high beam that results is what you get with no other adjustments available. Different bulbs might have some effect on this aiming, but not much if anything. They are not separately aimable.

I only found adjustments for the low beams. One screw that's for horizontal n one for vertical. Now if I get the highbeams where I want the lowbeams r too low. Oh well.

^ yeah it's possible there is no separate adjustment for high beams, I might have been wrong on that. so even on 9005/9006 setup the high beam adjustment is a result of low beam adjustment.

Hmmm, if the high and low beams differ a lot then maybe time for a new bulb? Just wondering.

go to a level surface and pull away from a garage door or a wall or something about 10 feet then adjust your high beams so they are straight forward, as in the beam and the light are the same distance off the ground.
