3rd Generation Need help with window motor techinical question??

Ok here is the situation. My drivers door window will only roll about a quater of the way down then seems like it runs out of power and just stops. When I hold up on the window and press the button for the window to go back up, it goes about half an inch then stops. A mechainc told me that my power window motor is going out or already is bad. Well I dont have enough funds to buy a new one so here is my question

Can I use another motor from another window in my car that I know works??

Example, can I take the rear drivers side window motor out of door and put it in the drivers front door??
Example, or can I use the passenger side front window motor and just replace the one that is broke??

See my car didnt pass inspection in louisiana, and the person told me it failed because my drivers window wouldnt go down, so I need to replace it, but he said that its the only window that has to roll down to pass the inspection, so I dont mind if I loose another window rolling down, as long as my drivers side front window will work.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Have you even looked up the part numbers for the four different locations?

call a local salvage/junk yard and buy a used motor. if you are somewhat handy, you can probably install this yourself and save the money instead of paying someone to install it for you.

I would get the entire Assembly, motor / Regulator (Part with the cables connected to it).

If you just try to replace the motor, and dont know what your doing your not gonna be able to wind the cable up properly.
