01 camry vibrates while pressing gas after hitting puddle

I have an 01 Camry and can't figure out why it vibrates while I press the gas after hitting a puddle. This only happens when I hit a puddle never any other times. Any ideas for what could cause the vibrations

Does it feel like an engine vibration?... like it's misfiring? Or is does it feel more like suspension or brakes?

Water is probably getting in and messing with your crank position sensor. That plastic cover has a really lame gasket on it and may even be missing.

I had that problem before with my cressida and it due to damaged muffler which has already been fixed. The car would loss power and shudder about 5-10 sec like someone block off the muffler when I hit the run-off.
