Transmission issue

The o/d on my 94 camry xle only works when the outside temp is in the 40's F.
I can drive my car in the afternoon when leaving work or after sitting all day in front of my house and the o/d wont engage. When i drive it to work in the early morning when the weather is cold, the o/d works fine. I changed the trans fluid/filter and everything looked normal under the pan.

Just in case it matters...It also needs an O2 sensor (will change next pay day) per a code scan and it did have a P0401 but it went away on its own.

Any ideas on whats happening with my o/d?

Sounds like yer solenoid might be sticking but you didn't mention any codes fer that. Are you sure you have the ATF at the proper level? Do you know how to measure it?

Yeah the fluid levels are perfect! Last month i was getting code P1705. I fixed it with a new sensor. Which of the solenoids controls the o/d?
