94 Camry clear coat

Hello, does anyone know if the 94 Camry has a clear-coat paint job?
My paints work's fading and need to know before I start trying to fix it.
My Camry is an Australian built VDV10 V6 GL.
Would like to hear from anyone even if your Camry was made in the U.S.
Cheers.

My 94 Camry has a clear coat. So did my 86 Camry, so Toyota has been using the base coat/clear coat paint system for at least 25 years.

Does anyone know how to repair the clear coat fade? I hear it's a common issue with Camry's.
It's started to fade on the boot lid which is always in the sun, but is still smooth to the touch so hopefully still recoverable without a repaint?

Clear coat breakdown is common on any car thats older. Easiest thing to do is wet sand and buff. If its starting to get sun rash its just gonna keep on doing it until you sand away just about all the clear.

If my clear were fading, I would take all of the clear coat off with wet/dry sand paper and re-clear coat the car.
