Oil pump indexing rotor

Quick question. When I replaced the large oring seal on my oil pump (4cyl '98 engine) I removed the large circular rotor for a moment to look at it and inspect it. I was just reading about making sure that the arrows(on the rotors) are pointed out when reinstalling the rotors.

See step 42 on this link for clarfication:
DIY: GEN3 Timing Belt + Waterpump + Oil Seal Change - Part 2

If for some reason the larger rotor was not installed with the arrow pointing out would I know it at this point... The engine seems fine mechanically and I've driven it some time since the o-ring repair. But I gotta know.... I think I may have unconsciously seen the air and set it correctly but its a nagging thought in my head at this point.

I wouldn't freak, the rotor seems to be the same inside and out. I'm looking at one right now as I have a spare.

Great thanks. Do you think the arrows on the rotors are there so that if the pump is taken apart the rotors are returned to their "original" wear positions? Just wondering why the arrows on there...
