Shake/vibration coming from the seats

I have a shake/vibration that is coming form the body of the car. It appears to be at all speeds. The steering wheel is fine. The back of car appears to be shaking. some details:

-previously I had a pull coming form the front of the car. It ended up being the tires themselves......pepboys replaced the 2 front tires under warranty. I still have the remaining 2 of the 4 originals on the back.

-I took it for an oil change to Toyota a few months ago and they said my rear strut was leaking and I need new rear struts. I have not replaced them yet.

-There is a rattle/bang that occasionally comes from the rear of the car. I have looked underneath and have not seen anything obvious.

-got the car from MIA 1.5 years ago. It looks like from the paper work that the front and rear sway bars were replaced in 09 @ 109k. actually looking at the car it looks like the rear sway bar links were replaced about the same time.

-I don't drive or even ride in the car much. however when braking at higher speed I can feel stutter wobble from the back.I felt this while I was sitting in the back. Originally I thought maybe the drums were warped but I guess it is all related to whatever this issue is.

all thoughts welcome. Could it be the struts? the tires? wheel bearing?

Worn sway bar links would generate a rattle when going over uneven pavement. But they would not be the source of shaking/vibration.

Shaking/vibration, if only when braking, would be signs a warped rotor or an out-of-round drum.

Shaking/vibration all the time, which may get worse at increasing road speeds, would be a sign of a tire tread or sidewall belt separation, or a bent wheel (if the car hit a curb or pot hole), or a balance weight on one of the wheels came off.

If your 2 older tires are still under warranty, and you suspect the problem could be coming from the tires, I would take the car back to the place you bought the tires and ask if the balance could be checked on the tires to see if something is wrong with one of the tires/wheels.

Thanks for the feedback.....I looked at the wheels and there are still weights on them. I think I probably should start with getting the wheels checked and possibly balanced...........when I do the struts maybe I will throw on some new drums also........
