Hey guys, just wondering what tire size I should get for my 16" Drag DR34 Rims? Offset @ 40mm
Was thinking about 205/55-16's, but I am wondering if i went with the 205/60-16's, would I have any problems with rubbing in the Rear since my camry is lowered on some Eibach Pros W/ Tokico Blues?
Was trying to search on google for Camry's with 16" and same tire size but not much came up.
Anybody running 205/55 or 205/60 on 16" rims, can you please post some pics. Thanks
Im running on some 205/60-15's Snow Tires on Black Steel Rims.
Which on 205/55-16's would come up to be about the same diameter.
Want to know if 205/60-16's would be alright with no rubbing, and to fill in the Fender Gaps a bit more.
I am running 205/60/16 snow tires on my wife's old 16" RSX rims fine, although I am not lowered at all, yet.

im on 205/65-R15 stock alloys and am waiting to buy 205/60-R16 tires for gen6 steelies +45mm offset.
from my tein s springs (1" drop around), my change should be fairly close in diameter to each other with still
about 1 " gap from tire to wheel well.
i just know that if i go from a 205/60-R16 to the stock gen6 215-60-R16 tires,
my wheel wells would be stuffed with slight tire tuck.

I'm driving a gen 3, but I have 205/55/16 on my car, lowered on BC Racing coilovers. I was pretty low in the rear at one point, but I raised it up when I was test fitting some wheels. Haven't gotten the chance to change it back though, but here's some pics to help you get an idea. I don't think you'd have a problem with rubbing with 55's.

Try the Tire Rack website, they have good info on what fits. For what it's worth, I have 206 60 15's on 15x7 rims on a Gen 4 with NO rubbing.
I agree.
Tire rack seems to have the best support and the best prices that I have seen on the internet.
Ordering new rims and tires from them soon. I am getting 16" rims so I am in the same boat, Ive looked up measurements of my stock 205/65R15's and the 205/60R16s that I will be purchasing and there is very little to no difference diameter-wise with the tires I had selected ( http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes ) and the stock Goodyear Integrities on factory alloys. I also checked that the same tire (the Yokohama in the link I posted) as a 205/55R16 will have a smaller total diameter than the stock 205/65's. I would also think a lower profile tire would look better on a lowered car as yours. Hope this helps.

Getting a lower profile tire will get your car lower and will have a smaller sidewall if that is the look you want. If you get a tire that is a little bigger it will fill in the fender gaps and make the car "LOOK" lower in that respect. Plus you might be less likely to scrap frame over speed bumps.

Hey thanks a lot for all the help, Pics and Replies Guys. Sorry i haven't replied back to any of you all who posted, I was quite busy in moving to a new home and getting all my Internet set up and settle in. But yeah I wanna say thanks to all of you who posted/replied along with those who posted up their pics. I have gotten a much better ideal of what tire size i'm gonna go with and what im gonna be looking forward to when I purchase my Summer tires and mount them on my Camry.
Thanks a Bunch, I will post up pics once its spring and there's no more snow, of my Camry with rims mounted.
I will probably make a post/thread of my Camry Build too, if anyones interested. By the way, my Camry used to be Yellow and was a Taxi cab, LoL!!, before this. So look forward to it, quite amazed myself of what one (which is myself) would spend time and money to restore a once used to be Yellow Cab Camry.
Yeah you guys don't see much Yellow Camrys around do you?
Finally got my Rims installed on with 205/55R16. And with the Snow finally starting to melt up here in AK.
Heres a pic i took, sorry for the bad quality and it being dark out. Guess you can't really see a black car with black rims to well with my phone camera.
I'll try and upload more pics soon.
