dead battery?

the battery light came on as i was driving, then the airbag light and the ABS lights came on. i parked and turned the car off. car wouldnt restart. it made a clicking sound like the battery is dead. which it is but question is - is it only the battery or something worse like the alternator or did my mouse die on his little wheel?

Might just be a battery. Need to get it checked first. If the battery checks out, test the alternator for output (most auto parts stores can do this) and all of your cable connections.

Re: dead battery?

Sounds to me like the alternator went out. Not a big deal. Kinda rare in Toyota land, but it happens. I4 or V6?

'93 V6 Sedan. Stock.
