'96 4 cyl oil & trans fluid leaks

It's time to get these leaks taken care of. Been avoiding them for some time but can't any more. There's 4 leaks: ps pump intake and suction hoses, trans pan gasket, oil leaking into the distributor and oil leaking from the oil pump and apparently out of the pan.

After looking at the online manual I've become pretty comfortable with tackling all of them. However, the oil pump seems a bit intimidating so I'd like to ask what others found helpful when this was done?

When you do something new and unfamiliar, it is really nice to have a friend that'll help you out. That's what this site is all about.

Just to note, to take care of the leak problems it would cost $2,720.00 US, at an independent garage.

Thank you for pointing out what I'd missed, those links are amazing!

So far on this site I've been a consumer but hopefully I can contribute at some point.

Also, thanks to dz63 and all the others who contributed to making all this available

You're quite welcome! Yes, those DIY threads are great. Seeing pics and getting pointers from someone who's done it is the best.
