Over all which do u ppl think would be faster?

My bets are on the 96 Camry V6?
anyone know for sure which is faster of the 2?

Hey Man, both have the same exact engine (1MZ-FE), just compare overall weight between the two and you should be straight, dependz on how they're driven too...

Horsepower is slightly different, the 1996 has 188hp compared to the 1998's (192 OR 194) hp

XLE is heavier

LE would be quicker than the XLE

Those seats and whatnot make a hell of a difference...take out the rear seats in a Sienna VVT-i and you'd swear that you can take out some Celicas- not to mention the helarious rear fender gap :grin:

How much heavier is a 99 xle v6 compared to a 99 le v6?? I imagine it cant be more than 50-100 pounds.
